Head Golf Professional Zach Johnson

Zach Johnson has been the Head Golf Professional at Hidden Creek since January of 2006. He grew up in New Albany and played 4 years of golf for Providence High School. After graduating from Providence High School, Zach attended Methodist University. While there he received a Business Administration Degree with a Concentration in Professional Golf Management. While in College he began to work at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club in Pinehurst North Carolina. In his 4 years as an Assistant Golf Professional at Pinehurst he was fortunate enough to see how a world class resort is run. Also while there he was able to teach at the Golf Advantage School for 3 years. In 2003 Zach and his wife Beth decided to move back home to Indiana were they remain with their two children. Upon returning home he took a job as an Assistant Golf Professional at Valhalla Golf Club. Along with running many outings and tournaments, teaching members, juniors and guests he was able to manage the volunteers for the 2004 Senior PGA Championship. With all the experience he had gained at these two courses in 2006 after receiving his PGA Membership Zach decided it was time to move on to the job he had been working for. He received the Head Professional position at one of the courses he grew up playing. He has enjoyed his time thus far at Hidden Creek and looks forward to a great 2010 season. At Hidden Creek we look forward to providing our customers a fun, friendly golf experience. We have the facilities and the staff to meet any of your golfing needs. Assistant Golf Professional Will Loy

Hey everyone, I am an Assistant Golf Pro here at Hidden Creek. I am from Monticello, Indiana, home of “Indiana Beach” which you may know as the greatest theme park in the northern part of western central Indiana. Another great Monticello attraction is Tippecanoe Country Club, a Pete Dye course where I worked in the summers during high school honing my skills and gaining a true love for the game. During high school at Twin Lakes I played varsity golf for four years, I then went to Indiana University where I graduated with a degree in criminal justice. After graduating I chose to move to this lovely part of the country and found myself here at Hidden Creek. I am currently working towards my Class A status as a PGA Member and I hope to accomplish this within the next two years. I have played golf since the age of 4 with my Grandfather and could not be happier to have golf as my profession. Currently I am residing in New Albany with by best friend Dogface, a Lab/Seal/Deer mix who is also employed here as a greeter. We have made a lot of great improvements recently, and look forward to the future here. I will be available at any time for lessons by appointment. If you have any questions or comments you can find me in the pro shop or email me at willloy@pga.com. Fore..!!!

Greeter Professional Dogface

Hi, my name is Dogface, but my friends call me doggie. If you come to play at Hidden Creek chances are I will be greeting you at the front door. I picked up this job since getting fired from a place that rhymes with mal-mart, and could not be more thankful. Since coming here I have met many great people and made so many new friends. I am originally from Bloomington, IN where I studied psychology and the ways of life. This is my first experience in the golf business and find the game itself very frustrating, which is why I am sticking to my other hobbies such as cooking and travel. I also play the bass guitar. Petting is always appreciated and maybe the occasional dog treat, although I stay on a strict diet so PLEASE NO HUMAN FOOD, its upsets my tummy. Hope to see you soon…… woof!
